Hello, I'm using acrobat 7.0 standard on Windows XP Pro sp2 and when I try to print a document with custom encoding all I get is squares and rectangles. I can print other PDF's without a problem and others can print the same custom encoded documents without a problem.

Help!

thanks,
Ed

What type of fonts are these (i.e., Bitmap, dFonts, Multiple Master, OpenType, TrueType, Type 1, or Type 3)?

Are these same fonts also installed on the computers that can print the custom encoded documents?

TrueType and it's installed on the computer that can't print and the others that can. He just can't print anything with custom encoding?

Thanks for responding,
Eddie

Are the drivers updated for this computer? Have you tried "Print as Image" in the Acrobat Print dialog?

I will try that when I can. Which drivers are you referring to?

The updated print drivers from your printer manufacturer.
