Change Default Printer

I have Windows XP and Acrobat v. 7.0. My default printer is an HP LaserJet 1100. On my LAN I also have an HP 7100 series InkJet. Whenever I open an Adobe program it changes my default printer to the HP 7100. How do I get it to stop? It's worth buying Adobe 8 if I get a useful answer.

I have the same problem (with different printers) and not from all applications, but certainly from most, when I print to pdf I lose my default printer & Adobe resets to the default.

i get the same problem as well. it always set to microsoft image printer.
but in setting in windows the default printer is hp laserjet.
