Changing the background color

A question about background color for pdfs opening in full-screen mode: Is it ever possible to control the background color beyond my own monitor? My pdf has a white background, and I'd like the viewer's monitor to have a white background in full screen as well. So there's no distinction between document and screen. I don't know Javascript. Is that something that can change a user's preferences? Is it worth learning just to achieve this one effect?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.0, Windows

Open the Preferences (Ctrl/Command + K) asnd click Full Screen at the top left side of the Preferences dialog box. In the right pane you'll see under Full Screen Appearance the Background color swatch. The defualt is black. Click the Black square and you can change the color to white or a custom color.

If you want your preference options to be the same for all files you open in Full Screen mode, remove the checkmark at the top of the right pane where you see Current document only.
