I have been told that Acrobat 8 Standard dos not have the capability of converting colors to CMYK, and that only Acrobat 8 Professional can convert colors to CMYK. Is this true, or can Acrobat 8 Standard also convert colors to CMYK?
Thanks,
Edwin Scroggins

Here is a link to a detailed matrix of the features available in Acrobat Pro, Stnd, 3D, and Elements-

Toward the bottom in the "Prepare Files for High Quality Printing" category you will see that converting to CMYK is not available in Acrobat 8 Standard.
Hope that helps,
