Why the "Convert to grayscale" FixUp doesn't work??? I tried several times and nothing happens please help me

Without seeing the PDF in question and the actual Preflight Profile that you created - I really can't say.

Here's the thing: I know via "Convert Colors" work perfectly...
But we want to make a "Droplet" using the standard "Convert to grayscale" FixUp locate in Acrobat 8.
Is there sometime that I miss to check?

And I tried with different PDF's but doesn't work.
