With Acrobat 8, do you all know if you can substitute fonts in a PDF document. Example: substitute a truetype font (Tekton) for a type 1 (Tekton) for publishing purposes?
I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999
Substitution for publishing purposes is not recommended since to ensure correct output of the actual font, you need to have that font embedded.
If you keep to this workflow, you should not experience any problems.
Hope this helps?
