Hi!

I have a different dilemma than most in the net, it seems. I have a library of documents.... it varies...but right now it is 400 documents... I have a need to print only a certain page (or couple pages) but most often I have the need to print the cover page of all documents (the title page if you like).

How is this done without printing the documents (that is impossible, they constitute more than 15000 pages) or by opening the individual 400 documents and selecting from the printing options to print only the first page (that would be laborous and don't repeat this same task) ?????

I looked and looked from this fine forum, the net and the instructions of the software but could not find any threads solving this little problem. I suspect there could even be some other software that could handle this... but I have not come across it yet.

With Acrobat Professional or Pro Extended you can run a batch process against any number of PDFs - there's actually a pre-defined entry that does precisely what you want built in to Acrobat 9 Pro, as it's a common thing for people to want to do (often as a way to make a set of thumbnails!)

You can't do it with Acrobat Standard or Adobe Reader. Only the Pro versions can run batch commands.
