I am trying to convert an HTML page that has text that has been tagged with . In a browser, the text is not visible. When I print the page using Acrobat printer driver (File->Print->Adobe PDF) the white text appears in grey in the generated PDF file.

Why does this happen and how can I make the text appear in white in the PDF file.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.4, Windows

What browser are you printing from? There may be some over-rides in the print dialog.

I have tried with both IE and Firefox. I actually did see a difference in how IE and Firefox print other colors. But both browsers printed the white font as gray.

Have you tried capturing the page in Acrobat, using File > Create PDF > From Web page?

Thanks Kelly.

I was able to create a PDF from the HTML page. It properly set the text font color to white, but the page seems to have a light pink background and formatting is really off.

This is getting me closer to the desired outcome, but the end users of the HTML page won't have access to Acrobat. They are expecting to convert the generated HTML page into PDF using "PrimoPDF".

Perhaps the CSS is affecting the output in some way, although I expect the print driver to mimic exactly what is displayed in HTML.
