Hello, I have this PDF file I want to print to a book, yet I'm having difficulties.
The book itself is A5 size, the pdf is A4 with two pages per page.
Problem is the page numbers are following, like:

3|4
5|6
and I dont konw what to do in order to get an A5 sized book of it.
Thanks, Dan.

Arranging pages so that they print on a piece of paper in such a way that the paper can be folded into a book is called imposition. To start out, the pages in the PDF need to be separated, one per sheet. They can't very well be arranged if they are already doubled up on the same sheet.

There are several ways you can approach this.
1. Purchase a professional imposition tool such as Quite Imposing (which will also split pages)
2. Use the Booklet printing setting in Acrobat,
3. Arrange the individual pages yourself and print with the Multiple Pages per sheet option.
To figure out the page order simply fold up a set of blank sheets into a book and add pages numbers. Now unfold them and lay them out in the order the sheets would print. Viole!! you have the order they need to appear in the PDF.
