When printing PMS colours to a harlequin RIP, using Acrobat 9.4.6 you are able to map the PMS colours to a template colour bar used in the imposition process. For example PMS 100 can be mapped to the template green, PMS 200 can be mapped to the template red, giving you a combined image and colour bar.
Having upgraded one MAC to Acrobat X (10.1.1) this feature is unavailable or doesn't work. The PMS colours show in name only in the advanced print window, with no actual colour panel showing as per the process colours above. Frustrating to say the least.
