how does one print a "mirror" image from a PDF file. This is achieved in Illustrator by using the command "reflect". Is there such a function in Acrobat? I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional running on a Mac.

You can use the "Print" UI. if you are creating a custom print button, you would need to use the "PrintParams" object.

yes you can create mirror image, but multiple steps. print to adobe printer one page at a time: in print dialog click 'advanced' button (next to 'printing tips' at bottom left corner of dialog). Check 'print as image' and select 300 dpi. OK. open the 'printed' file in photoshop; rasterize at resolution 300 dpi. use image> rotate> flip horizontal. save as 'photoshop pdf'. open in acrobat.
