I'm trying to print my wedding programs, which are pdf files. However, when I print one the outside half an inch or so of the paper leaves off what should be printed. To be specific, there's a design on the page that goes from the top to the bottom in landscape view of the page, but when I print it it leaves out the edges and I've messed with my printer for hours trying to figure out how to get it to print the whole page. My wedding's this weekend, so I'm in need of help fast. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
It is not uncommon for most consumer oriented printers to have a minimum margin requirement.
Something associated with the physical design/build of the printer.
I've used printers that have had this range from 1 inch to a quarter of an inch or less.
With that said, because of the consumer demand for borderless print of photos, there
are many more "photo grade" printers available that permit at or near "no border" (margin).
You may have to locate one such to print your materials.
btw - nice wedding programs are nice --- but, regardless of them --- have a wonderful wedding .Be well...
