No Save As PDF Box Printing to Adobe PDF

I'm using Adobe X with Adobe X Distiller on a Windows 7 64 computer.
When printing some documents to the adobe pdf printer I can see the documents run through the printer but I don't get the pop-up to name the documents.
I've tried the Distiller preferences to ask for location and without.
I've gone into adobe printer and properties and the port is adobe pdf and driver is pdf converter.
I've also set the preferences in adobe printer to prompt for file name and to a designated folder.
I can use a third party software such as CutePDF and get a file name prompt but I would prefer to use the adobe printer.
Thanks.

Do you have Prompt for Filename on on the Adobe PDF Printer? Right-click the Adobe PDF printer, and choose Printing Preferences then check Prompt for Filename. Another thing I've noticed on Windows 7 is that the dialog appears, but is behind the current application. I use Alt Tab after printing to see that dialog.

Yes I've set the properties in the adobe printer. I also tried setting a specific folder in case it was saving it somehow.
I checked behind and there was nothing else showing. I did notice that when it was going through the print process the document did not have a name.

Does anyone else have any idea how to get Adobe to prompt for the name of a document when the document hs no name?

Thanks.
