PDF print quality level

How can a check the print quality level and make sure that fonts are embedded before sending my PDF to the printer?

Acrobat Pro 6.0.2, Macintosh

Hi Wordcraft,

What version of Acrobat do you have? If you have Professional you can run Preflight on the PDF and get a report of any unembedded fonts and their locations. With the PDF open go to Advanced -> Preflight, select "List Fonts Using Non-Embedded Fonts" and click Execute. A list of all instances in the file with unembedded fonts will be generated.Or just to do a quick check on all fonts used in the PDF you can go to File -> Document Properties and look under the Fonts tab to see a listing of all fonts in the PDF and whehter they are umbedded or not.Hope that helps,
