I have a customer who wants a PDF of the individual color separations. I know that one can view the separations (Advanced/Print Production/Output Preview), but how do you save the separations as individual PDF's?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

In the Advanced print properties select Output, and in the Color drop down field select Separations. Print them, or use the PDF printer if you want a PDF of the separation results.

rhickey,

Thanks for the reply. I was able to make a PDF of the separations, but unfortunately they appear and print in grayscale. What am I doing wrong?

You have done nothing wrong per say. Separated PDF's print as grayscale. If you need them to be in the process colors you will need an plugin editor like Pit Stop to remap the seps to their process colors.
