I have a 36" x 24" poster in powerpoint that I'd like to print to a 72" x 48" poster in PDF. I've created the appropriate page size, and used "scale to fit paper", such that the Print Preview looks *PERFECT*. Yet, when it prints to PDF, I get a completely distorted image - most of the text is squashed on the far left hand side, a couple of headers are mashed in the middle, and some of the text is vertical. Everything is distorted and overwritten.
When I remove the "scale to fit paper", it *still* distorts the image, this time placing everything in the center, but squashing all the text in the lefthand 24" or so.
Suggestions?
Thanks!
I'm using Acrobat Professional 7.0 and PPT 2003
Have you performed the following?
Create the PDF at 100% size and then scale to fit/200% to the output device?
Ensure you're fully patched to Acrobat 7.0.9 (just in case it's a bug)
All the best,
Jon
I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999
