Preflight

I notice that all tint percentages listed in my preflight report are listed (for example) as 1% black when the actually element is filled with 100% black. All colors have the actually tint value multiplied by .01. I cannot find a setting to correct this. Did I miss something?

Thanks to all that respond.

Sorry for not including that info - I know better

1 - Acrobat Professional 8.1.2
2 - Mac - 10.4.11
3 - I am a flexo printer and I have made a custom preflight that includes, among other criteria, find type that is less than 4%.

While it finds the type, which is filled with 100% black, it indicates that the type is filled with 1% type - now who would fill type with 1% of any color.

When I used the supplied profile Prepress>Newspaper Ads, I get the same erroneous 1% fill on type that is filled with 100%.-Bill-
