Using Acrobat Standard Version 9. I can't print in black and white at all! I click on my printer properties, and go to the "Color" tab. I have 2 radio buttons: "Automatic" (the default), and "Manual". Under them is a checkbox to "Print in Grayscale". If I check this box, my printouts come out with the white areas of the pages completely black, and the letters of the text are white - it's as if it's simply printing white as black, and black as white. They're completely unusable.
The only other selection I have on the "Color" tab is a button called "Settings...". When you click it, the ONLY thing that appears is "Settings\General\Edge Control", with a drop-down box from which you can choose Off, Light, Normal, or Maximum.
I'm using an HP Color LaserJet 3600. This has happened since Day One. What am I doing wrong? I'd sure appreciate your help!
Also you can try "printing as image" from the Advanced Print dialog to see if it corrects the problem.
