The relative size of dialog boxes depends on the dimensions (in pixels) of your screen, font size settings, etc. Perhaps you can provide some information about those settings on your system?!?

Same problem, my print screen is just to be seen as one millimetert at far left side of screen. It's a Acrobat X Standard, running on XP. Enter or escape will do printing or ejecting, so it tells that the printing splash screen is active. The millimeter is not able to be enlarged or swept to the middle of my screen. All Nvidia possibilities like rotating, other resolutions etc dont solve the invisibilty. Google does not give solution to regedit. Repair of Adobe with original CD does not repair the bug. Restarting the system neither. It's just Adobe Acrobat....Anyone knows solution ?

Even more bugs: some other splash screens have irrational sizes: found a dialog box after clicking "Save as...smaller size" starting neat at left screen, but extending to the right for meters, far further than the right side of the screen(s). Again just typing Enter, did do the job. But did not have any choice because of buttons must be somewhere far more right.

I have a similar problem. The dialog boxes have gone off the screen, but when I install other fonts the boxes will get smaller. However, no type shows up in most of my dialog boxes. I'm using Bitstream Font Navigator (supposedly it is compatible with the newest version of Acrobat). Would love to send screen shots of them, but this forum does not accept.

I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit OS SP1, 6GB RAM and have 524GB free on my hard drive, plus over 1TB free on an external drive.

I just installed CS5.5 Design Premium, which included Acrobat X Pro. Many months ago, before I got CS5.5, I downloaded Acrobat X Reader, just to see what it was like. The same thing happened when I used the Reader. No text shows up in the dialog boxes. The outline of selection areas and buttons are there, but no text.

It happens in Document Properties, Print (the thumbnail of the PDF file shows), Preferences, Go To Page, Tools sidebar only shows icons, even the Adobe Product Improvement Program is missing text. The Print Dialog box does show a tiny number in two areas that refer to which page(s) you want to print and how many copies.

The Advanced Search dialog box shows text and looks okay. Don't know what would be different about that one.

Acrobat X removes Acrobat 9 during the install and I've read that trying to reinstall 9 is nearly impossible.

Oh, and I have reinstalled CS5.5 (takes nearly 2 hours!) and also tried the Acrobat Repair, with no change.

I have dual 24" HD flatscreens set to 1920x1080.

I've tried installing different fonts. With only Arial (Open Type/True Type) installed, the numbers in the Print Dialog box don't even show.
