I have a 2 page tri-fold pamphlet that I have set the print dialog presets on the advanced tab in under Properties to print as duplex flip short side. However the file does not print correctly-- the 2 pages are flipped improperly. The pages print opposite each other so that the text is backwards on one side. (bottom of page one is aligned with the top of page 2) I've played with all the printing presets and none of the work.
My printers at work are default set for duplex printing on a portrait document and the file I'm trying to print is landscape. If I change my printer's settings, the document prints correctly. However, I want to force the document to print correctly from within Acrobat.
Does a printer override the presets in Adobe?
Any suggestions?
I have an 11x17 poster that I wish to have the page scaling set to default (shrink to fit) but saving this setting in the document has no effect. The document prints according to the print page handling in acrobat and not according to the print preset in the document.
It would be professional for Adobe to acknowledge this behavior in some way
