Print to PDF Leaves Bottom Pages Scrunched

When I print a document to PDF File, the page bottoms become "scrunched" - the type is shown as if run through a printer and caught in the print spool at the end of the run. I don't understand how the program "eats" the paper in this way. This happens whether I choose to print letter size or A4 size. It can't be a font problem, since 3/4 of the page prints correctly. And, I can't believe that its a driver problem since its printing to a file, not to any particular hardware printer. Anybody have an idea what is happening?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.4.3, Windows

It could actually be a a font problem. Odd things can happen when a corrupt or damaged font is encountered on a lower portion of the page. Have you tried changing the font on this document?

Are there any images at the bottom of the page (even white boxes)?

Could you give us more detail about how this PDF is created.?

What program does it originate in?
What PDF Settings are you using?
Under File > Properties, do all the fonts list as (Embedded Subset)

The problem comes when I try and print to a PDF file, whether from a html document or MS Word document, usually from an html document. I expect that it is an Acrobat or Distiller problem. I have changed my PDF settings around ("use local fonts" AND "rely on system fonts only" AND embedded fonts, also). There are no white boxes at the bottom - only "rolled" printing, as if the paper had been caught in the rollers of the printer (though that doesn't happen). The print is scrunched beyond being italicized.

Have you tried Help > Repair Acrobat Installation? Also, can you scan your font library to see if you have any corrupt or damaged fonts? There are many utilities out there that can check the integrity of your fonts.

Okay, I loaded a trial version of Suitcase3 to try and check the integrity of my Fonts. But, it didn't seem to do anything. I wasn't familiar with font checkers, so don't know it this was correct. I also re-installed the Acrobat and re-started my system. I then re-did a printing from a wiki page using both Safari and IE9. The print to PDF came out okay using IE9. But, it was when I was using Safari that the "spooling" problem repeated itself. So, I have isolated it that far.

I can't seem to find any information out there about a conflict with Safari. Have you tried emptying your Cache?

Also, if you loaded the trial of Suitcase, it ships with an application called Font Doctor, try running that to check for font corruption.
