Dov, A little more info about printing in red. I am looking at PDF's that were orignally created in Adobe Illustrator, and they are vecotor files. I am using OSX 10.4.8 and printing to a HP 2550Ln Color Laserjet. When I print the overall background color is printing red. on Photos text and graphics. When I print using Illustrator the same file prints normal. Thanks for your input.

I'm having the same issue, photos and graphics seem to be over laid with a dark red, making them pretty much unreadable. It's seems to happen only with pdf's, either from a pdf on my hard drive or on the Internet, not all the time I don't think but then I'm not sure since I haven't really started tracking problem yet. I too am printing on an HP 2550Ln Color Laserjet plus I'm using Vista Home Premium but not sure if that fits into the equation.

Okay I did a little more research and I found that if you click on 'Print' from the menu of your PDF and then click on the 'Advanced' button and finally make sure that 'Discolored background correction' is checked, this should solve the problem.
