I am getting a new window when I try to print documents -print to file-? and it is asking for an "output file name"? Could someone please show me how to fix the problem.

You have a checkbox enabled for Print to File (Win) or menu option for Save As PDF (Mac). Revisit the Print dialog box and be certain no option is selected for Print to File or Save As PDF.
