When printing a duplex document that is mixed 8.5x11 and 11x17's. the printer or Acrobat 8 per say flips the 11x17 pages upside down. Does acrobat know about this issue?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

I am experiencing the same issue! Your posting has been here a while, did you ever figure out the problem?

Just wondering what you are printing to. My company just began leasing Bizhubs from Konica Minolta.

Actually it does not matter what printer or driver I use. PCL or Post Script. HP, Cannon. We use a lot of PS on HP Copiers (our printers) our repro department uses Cannon ImageRunner 7095. So I have to say that it is the program and would like a resolution.

If memory serves me correctly the upside down printing involves a setting for binding (long-edge or short-edge). I use the Mac OS X so the setting is in the "layout" section of the print dialog box.

We are having the same problem with printing mixed 8-1/2X11 & 11X17 mixed documents. We keep having to rotate the 11x17's upside down in the document.

Konica Minolta C650 series, Acrobat 8.1.5 standard, Windows XP.

All, I was having the same problem (using OS X and Konica Mintola C353 printer) with my PDF files. I found the following settings for my printer and am sharing them in hopes they help others..

I exported my PDF from Indesign as usual. The file is a booklet - 8.5 x 11, landscape orientation. Once in Adobe Reader, I went to "Print..." and choose the C353. On the main Print page, I have turned OFF the following option (although I haven't tested to see if it works either way, so YMMV): "Auto-Rotate and Center"

I then clicked on "Properties" for the printer. The C353 has a "Layout" tab. On that page, I changed "Print Type" to "2-sided" and I turned off "Rotate 180". The option that appeared to fix everything was changing the "Binding Position" from "Auto" to "Left Bind".

After doing that, my landscape PDFs now print correctly. Hope this helps!
