Printing issue of Document created with LaTeX

Dear forum,

I have following problem. I have created a pdf document with LaTeX (not with pdfLaTeX, but over DVI PS PDF, using ghostscript as converter on a Linux system). The document contains some pictures which are not printing correctly on my Linux system with Adobe Reader and Okular but they print correctly with DocumentViewer. On an other old computer I have installed Adobe 8 Professional, which prints the PDF also fine. On my new Windows computer (Windows 7) with Adobe Acrobat X the document does not print correctly.
I have used Adobe PDF as printer for testing, and also tried printing on several other printers. I tried different flattening tools etc in the preflight tool box, but sometimes the pictures becomes flury (looks like if the ink of the printer would be empty), sometimes it vanishes completely after printing with Adobe PDF printer. However, it is the first time I used this printing toolbox, so maybe I have done something wrong.

I created the pictures which have issues by using:
1) Importing a jepeg into Inkscape
2) Adding Text
3) Saving image and text as eps file with the option to save text as text
4) Using includegrapics and psfrag in LaTeX to replace the text in the final pdf

I hope the description is precise enough. Does anyone has an idea, how I can convert my pdf to a file which can be printed also on recent versions of Adobe Acrobat.
Of course, the easiest way is to print it either with DocumentViewer or the old Version of Adobe Acrobat by using a pdf printer. Then I can print it also with the newer Version of Adobe Acrobat X but on this conversion route I loose all taging informations and crosslinks, which I want to keep.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 10.1

I found a work around for my problem. I converted the ps file with ghostscript, pdfwrite on a windows system before I converted it with ps2pdf (linux). Then, the pdf can be printed without errors with the Adobe Acrobat Reader or Professional.

However, I found an other bug in the Adobe Distiller, which I tried first. Tthe Distiller ends the conversion with:
%%[ Error: limitcheck; OffendingCommand: gsave ]%%
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

I tried your workflow, using latex, an \includegraphics inclusion of an EPS file created by Inkscape (with text). Distilled on Win7, using Adobe Distiller, PDF created, no problem. Print to an HP printer, no problem. I also used ps2pdf (through MikTeX), PDF created, PDF printed, no problem. Cannot reproduce your problem.

Thanks, I think the problem occurs if you replace the text with psfrag. That means that the text has the same font as the main text. The text is printed but the figure is not correctly printed
