I recently updated to Adobe Acrobat 9. About the same time, whenever I try to print downloaded material from some internet sites, I get this window that comes up wanting a "File Output Name". What do I put in there and why will it not let me print out these files, then?

my guess is that when you updated, the behavior was switched to "print to PDF" - and now, when you select print - it is asking "where do you want me to print this PDF, and what would you like me to name it?"

which is why is is asking for a "File Output Name"

open a PDF - select Print - take a look at the upper left hand corner of the Print dialog box - just to the right of "Name:" - it probably says Adobe PDF - yes ?

click over that and select you printer, then say really loud;
