after the specified update I'm not able anymore to print a PDF file. I'm using windows xp professional. The printer (HP PSC 1510) prints the file with strange symbols different from any alphabet I have ever seen

after installing reader x on my xp system, I cannot print at all from Reader. I can, however, print from any other application on the computer. When I click on Print; (from the File menu, from the icon or by using ctrl P); the Reader X application simply quits and goes back to my desktop as if it had never been started. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? rwarner52 [at] gmail [dot] com

Having same problem using Windows 7; can no longer print anything from websites that are PDFs!!! Anyone have the solution? Other than going to a previous restore point on my computer. JudyB1

I have Adobe Reader X Version 10.1.0 running under Windows XP Home. When used as a plug-in to Firefox (5.0.5) or Internet Explorer (8.0.6001.18702), I can't print double-sided to my HP Laserjet 1200 printer. If I download the .pdf file first and open it with Reader, I can then print double-sided. If I try to print double-sided, the web browser is unresponsive. I've updated Firefox, IE, and the printer drivers but still have the same problem.
