I installed Acrobat 7 and I cannot print my pdf Files anymore on a brother HL1230 printer.
 
Most of my pdf files are generated by the wor perfect 2000.
 
My system is winsows 2000.
 
I installed version 8 and it is the same problem.

Check to see if Brother has posted an updated printer driver for your printer. This problem likely exists outside Acrobat.

First, when i installed Acrobat 7 i could not print documents.

I then founs a patch for brother printers named PPDMOD.EXE that solved some problems but not all. I can now print documents but the printing is only partial. I get the titles but not the body of the text.

I asked for more at brother.com.

I returned back to acrobat 6 that works fine.
