Problems printing from Acrobat 8

I'm having problems printing anything from Acrobat 8. The print job is sent to the printer (I'm using Epson 1270) but just sits there then stops. I've already installed the current print drivers. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try to : Acrobat > File menu > Print > Advanced > Print as image;-)
