Reduction of text dimensions for printing

I have a PDF file with pages measuring 6 x 9 inches (15.24 x 22.88 cm), and on each page the dimensions of the text are 11.74cm x 20.34cm. This gives comfortable margins on each side, but a friend wants to print it as a book with pages measuring 14cm x 22cm. Therefore, since I do not wish to change layout of the present text (which is embedded), I would like to know if there is any way that I could digitally reduce the dimensions of the text on each page by about 10% for printing purposes.

Yes, you can use the Crop tool in Acrobat 8 to change the paper size.
