Reformat Page Numbers?

How do I reformat the page numbers that are inserted using Headers & Footers? I'd like certain sections to be numbered "1, 2, 3" (I figured that part out), and other sections to be numbered with Roman numerals "i, ii, iii" (can't figure that one out). I know how to do the reformatting in Pages view, but in the Headers & Footers section (for physically inserting numbers for printing), I can't figure out how to easily number pages with Roman numerals? Please help.

Acrobat does not support roman numerals in the Headers and Footers command.

You might want to *fake-it* by using form fields or inserting new text with the touch-up text tool in this case.
