I have created a form in Adobe Acrobat. The purpose is to serve as a registration document. I have a print button on the form. when the user presses the button my hope is for the document to just print without having to open the Windows dialog window. Is it possible to write this into the xml language? Or is it possible at all? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

In order to have a print silently button on a form, the user would need to have a special folder level script installed on their system if they Acrobat or Reader for version 7 & above.

Could you elaborate a little? I am very limited with scripting.

The JS API Reference for the doc.print method and PrintParams interactive property. Notice the notes about security restrictions either in the text or the quick bar.A trustedFunciton script needs to be created and saved to an Acrobat/Reader applicatin folder, Using Trusted Funcitons by Thom Parker. The print silently is restricted because if the print silent method is not restricted someone could creaste a PDF and have it print any printer or disk drive with a URI as well as a local printer.
