Just installed new mac with Acrobat 9 and pitstop 9. When I send to the rip to produce printing plates it automatically converts spot colours to process. I Have checked both Acrobat/pitstop prefrences and cannot see where I need to change the settings.
I have tried saving the file as a optimized pdf which sometimes works....help please!!!!

It could be a whole host of things causing this. Need a lot more info.

need more info but as a long shot, try turning off Acrobat colour management in the colour handling section. (Print>Advanced>Colour Management)
