I have a large drawn logo scaled down, in pdf1.4 format that displays on screen fine in Reader 7, but is very badly drawn in Reader 5. Is there any setting I can use to fix?

Reader 7.0.0, Windows

You can adjust the line art setting in Acrobat 5 preferences (Display)
