When attempting to print from acrobat 8.0 it is VERY slow to pull up the print "ok" icon button. It take over 1 minute. I have had this problem ever since I started printing Harvard Business School Case PDF files that have special security features (limiting access to only 6 months). The harvard cases that have expired state that the are a "SPDF File". The current harvard cases state they are pdf files but when you open the file it stated "secured" after the file name. Help!!!! I do lots of PDF printing. I need this fixed ASAP. Is their an add on that I need to remove? I have already reinstalled Acrobat and that didnt fix the problem. I am having problems printing ALL PDF files not just the secure ones.
Someone else asked about problems printing PDFs from the Harvard Business School a while ago. This web page discusses some of the problems people are having with SPDF files from the HBS site-

Seems there are some font, caching, and IE7 issues, as well as an add-in that is required.
Sorry this is not a quick fix solution for you, but hopefully the resource above will give you a few things to try- then you should contact the HBS to see what you can find out from them.
Hope that helps,
