I am unable to change the font type/size within a text box created with Adobe 8.0 Reader. When I select properties I only receive the line properties. I only see the following tabs General, Appearance and Review. I have ran the Repair installation and it didn't work.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

What you're seeing in Reader on an enabled PDF for Comment & Review is correct behavior. You can't change type properties in the Properties dialog box.Reader and Acrobat have another toolbar you use for changing type properties. Open a context menu on the Toolbar Well and select Properties Bar. This is a toolbar and not a dialog box. In the toolbar you'll find tools for changing type attributes.

It's as simple as 123 ... once you know where Adobe hides the "text properties"

1. Select "Tools - Comment & Markup - Text Box Tool"
2. Type any text and HIGHLIGHT it
3. CTRL + e (Control button and "e" at the same time)

Then, the well hidden "Text Box Text Properties" appear.
