I am having trouble printing more than the first page in multiple page adobe reader 8.0 documents on Windows XP Pro. The printer is HP LJ 4000 with Postscript drivers installed. I have tried various pdf documents but the result is same. I have also un-installed Reader 8.0 and re-installed but to no avail. When I hit print it shows that its sending all pages to the printer. The printer display screen shows that its processing job but stops after printing first page. I have shutdown and restarted the printer. There are no errors displayed on the printer. The same results on Xerox workcenter as well. Please help.
I would recommend updating to the latest version of Acrobat 8.1. If this does not fix the problem then I would suggest using a methodical approach to determine the nature of the problem using our troubleshooting guide available at: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=333214&sliceId=2This approach will help you determine the cause of the problem. Also since you're using a Postscript printer, if you can enable the PostScript error handler you'll be able to obtain additional information regarding the problem.
Try this and post your results.
Hope this helps,
Lori
