Watermark Printing Issue

Hi all, I am having an issue where I add a watermark and security to a document after doing so a person that has read and print rights, tries to print and the Adobe acrobat reader 8.1 and below crashes, in some cases it will print the first page correctly but no the ones after, If I send it to print as an Image it works fine but it takes to long on a large file, so that is not a acceptable solution. I was able to print using a freeware call foxit pdf reader, in that one it works just fine which confuse me the most. That would be a solution but my client's clients use acrobat pdf reader, so I need it to make it work, any Ideas?
