I have a PDF with a watermark. When I print it in Acrobat 7.0 Pro to a Xerox WorkCentre 255 using the latest PS drivers, it prints fine. Same computer, printer, but Acrobat 8.0 Standard (or Reader), and the watermark prints "inverse." Meaning, the page prints with a gray background, white letters of the watermark and the document text only showing through on the watermark. I can't find any options to help this, nor can I remove this watermark. Any suggestions?
You might find it worthwhile to update to Adobe Acrobat/Reader 8.1 - just go 'Help' and then 'Check for Updates'.
There were some major changes to the way Acrobat 8 prints and the 8.1 update might overcome your problem.
