Hello all,

Brand new to the forum and site. My skill level is just above 1 (out of 10) so please bear with me.

My second edit since discovering the FAQs above. I have managed to insert an SWF (several in fact, in spite of what one of the links in the FAQs says), but I still have the following issues.

1) One of my SWFs has assets (pictures mostly) stored in an external folder. That is how it is roduced by the software I use unfortunately. Can I somehow embed these assets into the pdf file so the whole thing can be read seamlessly and standalone? Failing that, is there a way to take my basic swf and external assets folder and somehow embed the folder into the swf using Flash?

2) I worked out that I needed to click with teh hand tool to play the swf file. I have also seen a way of building a button with an interaction. But can I please ask you if there is a shortcut to add navigation controls to the swf files? Finally, is there a way to make the swf play automatically when the page is visible (I tried with properties but can;t get it to work)?

Thank you for your patience and for your help.

Christophe

Right-clic on the SWF using the Flash tool, then go to "Properties".

Here you can embed SWF linked datas and set the auto play...
