I searched the archives but didn't find this problem anywhere.
I'm embedding a .swf slideshow I created (Flash9, AS3) in an Acrobat 9 file. I've created back and next buttons in Flash to move from one slide to the other. This works great if I place the slideshow directly on the page. But when I specify a floating window, the buttons don't work well (that is, they don't work at all on one click and only sometimes work with two clicks).
I need the slideshow to be in a floating window because I'm using a poster image that's a small "launch slideshow" button -- I don't want the slideshow covering up other artwork on the page
I can't figure out why the floating window is interfering with my buttons. Any clues?
A sample PDF, with embedded SWF that has a button and is displayed in a floating window, is available at: http://www.microtype.com/showcase/MultimediaAsst/DirectAccessSWFimage.pdf
The SWF was produced in Captivate 4.
