Export to SWF - Bridge and Acrobat or other options?

Problem:
I have a single page PDF document that I want to convert to a Flash(swf) file using Adobe Bridge. In Bridge I can go to Tools-Illustrator-Export to SWF. However, the exportet SWF includes hidden clipping paths and this makes the dimensions of the swf file much larger than I want!

Q: Is there a way in Acrobat Professional 8.1 so that I can clean up the clipping paths to avoid my problem?

Any help appreciated! :)

Let's see if this works for you. Take the PDF and use File > Place in Illustrator. You can also open the file in Illustrator and save as a .ai file. Then use the Place command. When you place a file in Illustrator it losses all the vector attributes and comes in more like a raster file (although it's not rasterized). You'll loose all the path data and can easily export to SWF from Illustrator.ted

Hi Ted!
Thanks for your reply, it almost did the trick!

It got rid of the clipping mask, but when I tried to import it into my flash application, it still doesnt have the correct size. The flash application still treats it as has its original dimensions (with the clipping mask).

Also the filesize was multiplied by 4 and I was hoping for a solution that I could batch process.

Anyways, I've come a long way in finding another solution to the problem (altering the flash application that will import these swf files), so thats ok.. :)

Thanks!
