Hey,

With your help having finally solved the interactive pdf with movie on remote server, the client now wants a slideshow in the interactive pdf with the slideshow content on remote server. Is such a thing possible? Does Acrobat run javascript?

If your slideshow uses Flash, then it will work with either local (embedded) or remote content. Acrobat uses a special flavor of JavaScript to control automation and interactivity, but it's not the same as the JS used in web browsers so you can't import things like DHTML or AJAX slideshows.
