Will Acrobat 9 extended still support other video file types like quicktime and windows media to embed into a pdf or will it only support flash. I know in acrobat 8 pro, I can embed a windows media or quicktime video into a pdf. I am just wondering if they are still going to allow that, now that flash has been more integrated into acrobat 9
What Acrobat 9 Pro Extended will also do is give you the option to convert those other formats to Flash Video so the videos playback in Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 without the need for additional players to be installed.
Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat 9 Pro Extended both allow you at add FLV (or H.264 encoded video which Flash 9 handles natively) to a PDF document for playback in Acrobat 9 and Reader 9.
