I've read all the prior Posts about embedding the video, selecting No Poster and being sure that the proper Content Type is selected. But after clicking on the video, the video rectangle flickers briefly and then stays black (green with some clips) while the audio plays.
My goal is to embed short wmv clips one per page showing a specific job task, with the job steps also described in text with pictures on the same page.
Honestly, your best bet would be to use Acrobat 9 and allow it to convert the WMV file to FLV and embed it into your PDF. Acrobat 9 Pro Extended can do this. The advantage is that the movies wont need to depend on an external player. Flash is built into Acrobat and Reader.
I am a long-time Acrobat user, an employee of Adobe Systems, and Maine native. I have created training videos for Total Training, consulted with people to help them better use Acrobat, and developed new business for Adobe as a Business Development Manager
