Batch Security - Document Open Password

HI there,

Just wondering if someone has a solution for this issue. I have created a batch job to apply security to documents in a specified directory including document open passwords. Problem the first time the batch sequence is run on starting up Acrobat users are prompted to enter a document open password even though this has already been specified in the batch sequence. Is there a way around this?

There is a preference that you can set for Batch Processing. Edit --> Preferences --> Batch Processing panel. Under the Security Method pulldown you can select "Do not ask for password".
