Digital ID for multiple co-signers

How do I get an emailed Digital ID to appear as a Digital ID? When opened, I can make this signature a Trusted Identity, but not a Digital ID. I need to have multiple co-signers sign at a single Windows session during a meeting. Apparently, the emailed file is a FDF file rather than a file that Security Settings recognizes. Thanks for any help.

Hi afsmith52,

A digital ID consists of two parts, a certificate and a private key. The emailed file is the certificate portion of the digital ID. The private key is never shared and is used to decrypt documents. In your scenario, the co-signers would need access to their private keys (not just Trusted Identity).
The methods to set this up are detailed in our Digital Signature Guide located at:

Hope this helps,
Lori
