My company is tryng to create an online subscription with pdf's in acrobat. I'm trying to find out the best way to implement this without compromising security. I'd like for a user to either open a link to the pdf from a usb key and have the pdf ask for the digital ID on the usb key. This way people can give their password to people but without the key the pdf is not viewable. Is this at all possible? How could this be done? Would I need to buy a developer license from adobe? I would like to create the key from a blank USB key myself. I don't want to have to buy thousands of HASP keys preprogrammed or something similar. If anyone could point me toward some documentation or help me out in any way, I'd appreciate it.
