If you haven't utilized your digital signature, you can edit the appearance of a digital signature under Edit > Preferences > Security. However, if you've already utilized this particular signature, you should clear the signature first and then re-sign. The reason for this is that technically you're changing the document after it has been signed, which invalidates the process.

How do I "clear" the signature field?

While I am add it, how do I creat a new signature field. I figured it out quite a while agoi and as I recall it wasn't particularly intuitive.

To clear a signature field, open the Signature Navigation Pane, right-click on the signature and select 'clear'. You can use the same Security Preference as mentioned above to add different appearances to your digital signature.
