I can't open any encrypted document that are sent to me after updated the Acrobat Reader 6 to Acrobat Reader 9.

If they are certificate encrypted for you then you may need to install your certificate into Reader 9.

I have the same problem above. I use a windows digital IDs to encrypt my documents.

Yes I did.
To solve that issue I executed the process below;

Open Acrobat Reader, click on Tools / Document / Security Settings. On the Security Settings screen click on icon to add the digital certificate (private key) then select "Browse for an existing digital ID file" click Next > Browse and select the file yourkey.pfx (ps: ErichVentura.pfx).
Now close the Acrobat and reopen it again.
Now you will be able to open your files.

Yes, Now I can open the documents. It's very strange, because the certificate is already installed into adobe reader. Now I will install this certificate in all computers in my company (more than 100). Do you kown if there is a way programatilly to do this?
